Buying a Card

Step 1:

When you find the gift card that you wish to buy, click on its "Title" to see the detailed information on the gift card. You should see a "Buy" button on the bottom of the page. If you do not see a buy button, then either the gift card is only for trade, or you are looking at your own gift card(The button only disappears if you are logged in and looking at your own gift card).

Step 2:

Verify the payment type is acceptable to you, and click the "Buy" button.

Step 3:

If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to login. You do not have to be a member to buy. Just click the "New User" link on the page.

Step 4:

New users will be prompted for shipping and billing information. When you have entered all the required information in red, click the "Submit" button. Members will be asked to verify the information that we currently have for them by clicking the "Verify" button. Members can also update their information if they want to change the shipping address, or any other information by clicking the "Update" button.

Step 5:

Your receipt will display, and a receipt will be emailed to the email that you provided.

Please Note:

This is only a "Buy Offer", and you are not guarenteed to recieve the Gift Card that you requested. Do not send payment until cardJar sends you an email confirming the acceptance of your buy offer. CardJar does not facilitate the exchange of money or gift cards. It is the sole responsibility of users of this site to facilitate the sale and trade of cards on our site.

We suggest the following process for buying a gift card:

• After the Seller accepts the buy offer, an email is automatically sent to the Buyer.
• The Seller should contact the Buyer via the information found in the "My Pending Giftcards" section of his cardJar.com home page. The Seller should confirm payment and shipping methods.
• The Buyer should submit payment according to the agreed terms.
• Upon receipt of payment, the Seller should send the gift card.
